Welding
Automatic welding with CNC-controlled laser welding machines is used in tool production. These state-of-the-art machines enable the automatic welding of cutting discs up to Ø 1,600 mm and drill bits up to Ø 300 mm.
The purpose of laser welding is the precise joining of tool segments for cut-off wheels and drill bits, the optimisation of weld seams for maximum strength and durability and the efficient production of high-quality tools with minimum waste.
The laser welding machines are characterised by CNC control for precise weld seams and repeatability, which enables automated processes for efficient series production.
In addition, specialised capacitor discharge welding technology is used for grinding discs up to Ø 254 mm. This method guarantees effective joining of components for sanding discs, ensures a stable and reliable welded joint and minimises the heat impact on the workpiece.
The capacitor discharge welding machines are characterised by a special welding technique for precise and controlled welded joints, adapt to different materials and disc sizes and minimise the effect of heat for gentle welding of sensitive workpieces.
